The Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon & BG Kids Triathlon

Personal Best Racing is bringing you the Bowling Green Sprint Triathlon at the Preston Miller Park! Come celebrate the sport of triathlon with us by participating in the sprint triathlon that captures the areas beauty and industry! The swim is 400 Meters in the Russel Sim aquatic center with 50 meter lanes to stretch out and build your speed! Bike ~14 miles from park left onto Veterans Blvd traversing through some neighborhood roadways, making a loop and coming back to the park via Veterans. Run ~ The 5k starts in Park, once clockwise around one mile paved path that circles park, then thru wooded gavel path, then out to the paved path again finishing up at the checkerboard finish line! Each participant will get a shirt with their registration and a finishers gift. Awards will be awarded to the top 3 male and female overall, top masters male and female overall, and top 3 in the following age groups: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ This event is USA Triathlon Sanctioned and each participant will be required to have a USAT Annual Membership, available for one day purchase through registration. There is a kids event that will be taking place at 9:30am following the adult event. The kids event will consist of a 50 meter swim, a 3 mile bike and a 1 mile run. The kids courses are being redeveloped as we work with the city officials for the safest course!
