Join Project NICU for our Wishing Flower Walk & 5K! Sunday, August 23, 2026 Start Time Registration/Packet Pick Up - 7:00am 5K Run/Walk- 8:15am 1 Mile Run/Walk- 9:00am All kids 12 and under are invited to participate in the Dandelion Dash taking place at 8:45am prior to the start of the 1 mile walk After the race, be sure to head to the Palava Hut and check out the Hope Grows Zone with activities for the kids. *Sorry, dogs will not be allowed at this race. Distances 5K Run/Walk 1 Mile Run/Walk Timing 5K - Chip Timed 1 Mile - not timed Registration Pre-Registration until Friday, August 21 at midnight. Race fees allow for admission to the Zoo all day! All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, August 19, 2026 Make checks payable to Hermes Sports & Events and mail entries to: Hermes Sports & Events 2425 West 11th St. Suite #2 Cleveland, Ohio 44113 Participants Receive A short-sleeved t-shirt, and post-race refreshments and can enjoy the Zoo all day! MUST PICK UP YOUR WRISTBAND AT REGISTRATION BY 9AM AND ENTER THE ZOO BY 11AM Kids participating in the Dandelion Kids Dash will receive a cape. Supporter Supporter Wristband - $20 All supporters the age of 2 and over will need to purchase a $20 wristband and must collect their wristbands prior to 9:00am from the registration table and enter the zoo by 11am. After registration closes at 9:00am and you have not picked up your wristband, you must go to the box office and purchase a regularly priced ticket. Zoo membership does not allow for entrance into the zoo during the event. You must register as a participant or supporter for the race.
