RunGiving 5k

RunGiving 5k and Fun Run will be a local run or walk that will work to provide items for the Broad Street Ministry Center's food pantry and clothing room. This ministry assists senior citizens, disabled people, and our local homeless population. Come join Run the Tangents Timing on Thanksgiving morning to give thanks through running and giving back to the community with a non-perishable food donation before the run. The food collected at the race will be donated and for each food item donated, runners will be given a raffle ticket for entry to win a prize (prize yet to be determined). Please note that there are no refunds and there will be a 30 minutes weather delay (if needed). START/FINISH The 5k run will start at 9 a.m. and finish at Mill Village Trailhead (109 Eve St., Augusta, GA 30904) and will continue onto the canal towpath. This route will be primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt. The Fun Run will start at 10:00 a.m. at the Mill Village Trailhead as well and we will go out to a cone on the path and turn around to return to the start line. REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP Online registration will remain open right up until November 26, 2026 at 8:45 a.m. Race shirts are guaranteed to everyone who registers by October 24, 2026. Extra shirts (if any) will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. - Packet pickup will be open on 11/26/2026 at 8:00 a.m. and close 8:50 a.m. - Early Packet Pickup is scheduled for 11/25/2026 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fleet Feet Augusta, 229 Fury's Ferry Road, Augusta, Georgia 30907.
