Mighty Hero Homes 5K and Fun Run

It is getting to be that time again. Race is just around the corner. November 7, 2026 The Mighty Heros 5K is a race to benefit Mighty Hero Homes an organization dedicated to eliminating Veteran Homelessness, because THEY DESERVE BETTER! The race will be a wonderful run in McDonough, GA, Henry County through the Lake Dow and Lake Dow Estates communities. All proceeds from the race will go directly to Mighty Hero Homes. Henry County is the scheduled location for the first Mighty Hero Community construction. All proceeds from this race will go to Mighty Hero Homes Organization. Event also promotes health in the community. This is the second annual event. Every race will be dedicated to a Veteran. We are now accepting Veteran nominations for the 2026 race. Nominations can be living, retired, active, or deceased. Please send nominations in the form of a 1 page email to Cplloyd1313@gmail.com This is the race email site, or if you do not want to send an email you can drop off the nomination at any Family Health Clinic location, Zebulon, McDonough, or Locust Grove or at the MIghty Hero Homes main office in McDonough in a sealed envelope with Attn: Crystal Preston-Lloyd, Might Hero Homes 5 K race nomination. USATF Course certified. GA25063WC Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race Qualifier Dog and stroller Friendly event. Will have separate wave. Registration begins at 06:30 Race begins at 08:00 Awards to follow. Awards will be given out for overall male and female finisher and the top three runners of each age group. Award for most decorated patriotic stroller. Donations can also be made directly to Mighty Hero Homes @ mightyherohomes.org
