Race #2 of the Winter Wild Thangs Trail Series Please remember that all RunningLane Events trail races are "cupless races." You must have a hand held bottle, pack or reusable cup as there won't be any paper cups at the aid stations to cut down on waste. If you don't have a reusable cup, there is the option to buy a RunningLane reusable cup at checkout for $5. Welcome to the Winter Wild Thangs Trail Series! We are excited to introduce a new winter trail series to the beautiful mountains around Huntsville, AL. This series is designed for both new and experienced trail runners alike. There are 3 races total in the series with both short and long race distances. Starting in late December and finishing in January, these 3 races are designed to be competitive, help runners increase their race distances through the winter months, and most of all be a ton of fun. If you are training for HTC's Mountain Mist 50K, this is a great winter buildup to the grand daddy of them all, MOUNTAIN MIST! Several aid stations will be provided on the course with everything from water, Gatorade, coke, GU, pretzels, m&m's, granola bars and more.
