6th Annual WORTHY 5K / 10& Under Fun Run!! SUPPORTING: Trail Life USA LA-2206 (#the2206) Saturday, February 27th, 2027 8:00 a.m. – Arthur Teague Boat Launch at the foot of Shreveport Barksdale Bridge. 3131 ARTHUR RAY TEAGUE PKWY Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure. Boys from kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created. The 5k is our only fundraiser for the year and supplies our troop with the necessary funds to fulfill all our service projects in the area, as well as maintaining our troop equipment. MEDALS for 1ST & 2ND places for MALE & FEMALE in the following categories: 10&under/11-14 yrs / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60+ Aside from your normal Post race snacks, we will be serving up our SIGNATURE PANCAKES that WILL BE AVAILABLE BEFORE & AFTER THE RACE! We WILL have a LIMITED number of extras, we just cannot GUARANTEE your specific size or availability. They will be on a first come first serve basis AFTER the cutoff date. RACE PACKET PICKUP will be at our Charter Church Friday Feb 26th 12:30pm - 6:00pm : Barksdale Community Church 1465 Patricia Dr. Bossier City, La 71112.
