The race has consistently drawn over 200 runners & walkers each year. 9:00am 5K 9:45am 1 Mile 10:15am Awards Ceremony Proceeds and Donations from this annual race will benefit Rome's Cross Country/Track & Field teams and will help to build our running programs. This USATF-Certified 5K C ourse ( GA25003WC ) is relatively-flat, is quite fast, and will once again be professionally-timed using RFID electronic chip technology by Wire2Wire Running. Race Day registration closes at 8:45am. AWARDS 5K Overall: Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) Overall M&F finishers, as well as the Top Master M&F. 5K Age Groups : Awards will be given to the Top Three (3) male/female finishers in each of the following age groups: 10&Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 & Over. There will also be an award for the “Youngest Cub” as well as the “Alpha Wolf” (most experienced runner). Wolf Cub 1 Mile Run/Walk : Awards will be given on race day to the Top 3 finishers (male & female) for ages 3-8, 9-12, and 13-17. The Wolf Club 1 Mile Run/Walk is open to all ages; however, awards will be geared to the younger participants. Please Note : This is a Rain-or-Shine event.
