What is a stadium climb? During the stadium climb, participants will go up and down the stairs around the lower level of the stadium, on a predetermined route. We will finish by going down the ramps inside the stadium, and enter onto the playing field through the tunnel the Panthers use. How long is the T2T Stadium Climb at the Bank of America Stadium? You will be climbing up and down the entire first level of the Bank of America Stadium. Climbers will finish by exiting on to the field through the tunnel the players use. There are a total of 1,454 stair steps along the route. Will there be medical assistance if necessary? There will be medics on the premises in the event of an emergency. Will hallways be included in the climb distance? Yes, participants will pass through a couple of hallways once you finish the stairs. Is there a limit on how many people can register? No! The more the merrier. How long does the T2T stadium climb take? This depends on your fitness level as well as speed and time spent resting. Everyone will finish at a different pace. Competitive Climbers may finish in less than 8 minutes, while non-competitive participants will likely finish in 15-45 minutes. Is this a timed climb? Yes. Each climber will get a timing chip. In order to receive an accurate time, please make sure your bib is clearly visible on the front of your shirt. Check back shortly for information on wave assignments and the link to the website with official results! I might get tired and be unable to finish, what should I do? Slower climbers should move to the right, allowing faster climbers to pass on the left. If you cannot complete the climb, just find a volunteer or staff member who can escort you to the nearest rest area and direct you to the field. I’m a first responder; can I wear my bunker/turnout gear, scott packs, etc.? Yes, you may wear turnout gear. We encourage it! What is a "Competitive Climber”? A Competitive Climber is a stair climber who routinely participates in stair climb events and can run up the stairs, completing the climb in a very fast time. Can I bring my cell phone? Yes, you may bring your cell phone. Take lots of pictures and tag us on social media. When can I pick up my registration packet (bib and T-shirt)? PACKET PICK-UP: Friday, May 15 AND Saturday, May 16 When: Friday, May 15 from 2:00pm - 6:00pm Saturday, May 16 from 10:00am - 2:00pm Where: Saint Vincent de Paul Church - 6828 Old Reid Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210 You can pick up a packet for someone else. RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP: Sunday, May 17 When: Sunday, May 17: 7:00 AM to 9 AM – onsite registration ends at 8:45 AM Where: BOA Stadium (North Entrance off Graham Street) 800 S Mint St, Charlotte, NC 28202 What time should I arrive ? The event will begin at 9:00am with a ceremony. The first climbers will start promptly at 9:45am. Where is the Bank of America Stadium? 800 South Mint Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 Is parking available? Yes, parking is available at the below lots: Lot 1 – 410 S Mint St parking deck Legacy Deck – 720 S Church St Lot 2 – 415 W 1st St McNinch – 1012 W Morehead St Entry (Free gravel lot – first come first serve) Can my friends and family wait for me at the finish? Yes, you can register on our website as a spectator which will allow you access to the field. Will I receive an event T-shirt? Yes. All participants in the T2T Stadium Climb will receive an event t-shirt and finisher's medal. T-shirts can be picked up at the designated packet pick-up location. *Please note that shirt sizes are not guaranteed. Shirts are first come, first serve at packet pick-up. Is there a minimum age to participate? No, there is no minimum age to participate. Children 14 and under must have parent permission to participate. When is the deadline to register for the T2T Stadium Climb? Anyone can register for this event up until the start of the climb. Please note there will be an increase in registration pricing as the event date approaches: Is any portion of my entry fee tax-deductible? No. The entry fee helps cover the cost of producing the T2T Stadium Climb, and includes a participant T-shirt. This is why fundraising is so important! All donations made or raised above and beyond your entry fee are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. If I am no longer able to make it to the T2T Stadium Climb after registering, can I get a refund or have someone else climb in my place? No, participation is non-transferrable and registration fees are non-refundable. Your registration fee will become a fully tax-deductible contribution. How do I form a team? You can form a team while you register online by selecting the option to "Create a Team". You will become the Team Captain and will be asked to enter the Team Name. Those who wish to join your team can then register by selecting the option to "Join a Team." Is there a limit on team size? No - sign up as many teammates as you can! I am a Team Captain. Can I enroll all members of my team at one time? Yes! You can register multiple members of your team at one time! Can I pay for my whole team by company check? Yes, a team can submit one check from its company for every team member's registration fee. How do we register our company team if paying by check? Please contact Charlotte@t2t.org if you plan to pay by company check. Can I still fundraise beyond the event date? YES! We encourage everyone to raise additional funds up until July 1, 2026 to qualify for cool incentive prizes.
