Tri If You Dare Youth Triathlon

This recreational triathlon's goal is to expose children to the multisport field in a fun, safe and encouraging environment. Participants will run, bike and swim to the finish! Awards will be given to top three boys and girls in each age group. Ages 5-6 Run .25 Miles, Bike 1 Mile, Swim 25 yds Ages 7-8 Run .5 Miles, Bike 1.5 Miles, Swim 100 yds Ages 9-10 Run .75 Miles, Bike 2 Miles, Swim 100 yds Ages 11-12 Run 1 Mile, Bike 3 Miles, Swim 150 yds Event details and schedule PACKET PICK-UP Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the Seminole Recreation Center. We will also have Packet Pick-Up at the Check-In Tent from 6:00am-6:55am on the morning of the event. EVENT LOCATION The event will take place at the Seminole Recreation Center: 9100 113th Street N., Seminole FL 33772. This reverse triathlon will be on a closed course (Seminole Recreation Center, Seminole Library and St. Petersburg College). Participants will run (varying distances based on the age group) on our multipurpose fields, bike at the recreation center, Seminole Library and St. Petersburg College and finish at the Seminole Recreation Center Pool. WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING Be sure to wear comfortable clothes to be active in. Participants must bring their own bike, helmet, swim suit and towel. PARKING Participants and spectators may park in the grass lot next to the multipurpose fields and the back parking lot of the recreation center. ARRIVAL TIME AND TRANSITION AREA All participants must arrive, get assigned a timing chip and store their bike in the transition area BEFORE 6:55am, regardless of what time their age group will officially start the race. Transition Area officially opens at 6:00am and closes at 6:55am on race day. ALL PARTICIPANTS must be checked in, receive a timing chip and store their bike in the transition area BEFORE 6:55am. 11-12 year olds - 7:05 am 9-10 year olds - 7:35 am 7-8 year olds - 8:05 am 5-6 year olds - 8:35 am AWARDS CEREMONY - 9:15 am
