TopCity Half Marathon

Join us for the TopCity Half Marathon & 5K on May 2nd, 2026. The Top City Half Marathon & 5k aims to be a premiere event that enhances the health, wellness and culture of Topeka. The route takes you on the popular Shunga running trail, while also showcasing the neighborhoods of Kansas’ TopCity. Please note, to allow us to satisfy city permit requirements for street closures, half marathon participants must maintain a pace of 16 minutes per mile or faster.
