Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile

The Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile celebrates Tom's lasting impact on the lives he touched. Tom served as the track and cross-country coach for over twenty years, first at Alliance High School (Alliance, OH) and then at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights, Ohio. The proceeds from this event will be used to create a scholarship in Tom's name and be awarded to a senior track or cross-country runner from the Parma City School District. The 5K and 1-mile events will each be chip-timed. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to participate. You can register for both distances, and your times will be combined to determine rankings for the combo category. The 5K course will feature split points at every mile and live participant tracking via RTRT. The 1-mile course features a split at the half-mile mark. All runners will be treated to ice cream at the finish line - Tom's absolute favorite food!
