The Murder Mile Halloween Horror

For years, we’ve talked about putting together a haunted night run—something weird, wild, and absolutely drenched in Halloween spirit—and this year, we finally said: let’s make it happen.Get ready for a fright-filled night of running as we transform our 1.1-mile loop into a haunted trail of screams and things that definitely weren’t there before. We’re decking out the mile in all things spooky and scary—creepy sounds, eerie lights, and maybe some unexpected visitors—so you can enjoy a night of Halloween mayhem, trail-style. Costumes are encouraged and possibly required.... Sanity is optional.Trick-or-treat stations await you each lap. Yes, actual candy. And yes, some of the treats bite back.The “Treat” side? Candy and who knows what else.The “Trick” side? A twist for your next lap. Maybe you’ll have to zombie-shuffle a lap. Maybe you’ll carry a pumpkin. Maybe you’ll scream every time you pass a tree. We’re not telling you what’s in the bag—but it’s cursed, and it’s happening.For Trick you’ll draw from our Bag of Tricks each time around, and whatever you get, you do. This is not a PR kind of race. This is a “laugh-while-you-suffer” kind of fun run.Coyotes have been seen in the area. So has a guy named Randy. Don’t worry. They’re both mostly harmless if you don’t look like a snack. Come run, scream, and repeat. We’ll see you at the starting line—assuming you make it there.
