The Metropolitan 5K 2026

Join E.F.F.E.C.T Fitness and Cause of E.F.F.E.C.T , a 501(c)(3), for the 6th Annual Metropolitan 5k race! The race is held on Juneteenth to commemorate the holiday and bring awareness to the overall health benefits of physical activity and mental wellness, specifically in underserved communities. The Metropolitan 5k exemplify community and open to all fitness levels. Grab a friend or your family and come RUN YOUR RACE! The Metropolitan 5k is a Peachtree Road Race qualifier! All proceeds from The Metropolitan 5k go towards programming and executing some of our most impactful programs such as the Back 2 School Drive and Holiday Giveback with Atlanta Public School students. Both E.F.F.E.C.T Fitness and Cause of E.F.F.E.C.T have transformed the lives of many children and adults through fitness and service and your contribution continues to help us push our missions forward.
