The Champions Run for Special Children

It's the 11th Anniversary of The Champions Run for Special Children! It's an awesome superhero-themed, certified 5K run/walk/stroll (that also features a 1 mile fun run) to help some of our littlest heroes. Let's get moving! Dust off your cape and bring some friends to this 5K run/walk benefiting children living with "different-abilities" and special needs! Individual and Team awards will be presented. Group Prizes (largest number of participants in a group): Sorority/Fraternity Business School Church Best Team Costume Most Team Spirited Individual Awards: Overall (0 - 49) Masters (50+) Ages 70 + Age 60 - 69 Age 50 - 59 Age 40 - 49 Age 30 - 39 Age 20 - 29 Age 15 - 19 Age 10 - 14 Age 9 and under Best Costume - Adult Male Best Costume - Adult Female Best Costume - Child If your group would like to participate, we are utilizing RunSignUp's group option. Please contact Laura Capell through our contact form, or at laura@dcecchampions.com to set up your group, or you can create your own group through the registration website. Teams of 5 or more will receive a discounted rate of $18 per person. The Champions Center for special children (formerly known as DCEC) provides daily care, critical educational and therapeutic services to children living with different-abilities and special needs. We serve children with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, Muscular Dystrophy, Cystic Fibrosis, Genetic Conditions and Developmental Delays. EVERY CHILD DESERVES A CHAMPION!
