Summer Splash 5k

Run or Walk this family friendly 5K race raising funds to help cancer patients in the Upper Cumberland. The Summer Splash 5k offers racers opportunities to cool off along the course at optional “drenching stations” and “misting stations.” All participants will be timed and have the option to order a Summer Splash T-Shirt. Proceeds from the Summer Splash 5K will go toward the Cancer Care Fund at Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation and participants are encouraged to run in honor or memory of a loved one impacted by cancer. The race was established in memory of Sarah Alice Bagci, who battled Burkitt's Lymphoma. The race will begin promptly at 6 pm, beginning near Dogwood Park Amphitheater with the start line on N Walnut Ave. Note, there is construction in the lot between the park and start line. We will be gathering in the parking lot near Cigi's and the Exceptional Bean, and then walking to the start line together just before the race begins.
