Summer Iowa Games Open Water Swim

Competition Format This is an open course event, meaning that participants must share the road with traffic. For safety, helmets must be worn during the cycling portion of the competition and no headphones/iPods will be allowed on any part of the course. Participants should leave their running shoes in the transition area. *No swim clinic will be offered this year* Triathlon Course will consist of the following: Swim – Open water, distance of 1/4 mile Bike Route – 20K Run Route – 5K Duathlon Course will consist of the following: Run – 5K Bike – 20K Run – 5K Open Water Swim Course will consist of the following: Swim – Open water, distance of 1/4 mile
