Streetlight 5K & Frolic

Join us for an awesome event with activities for all ages. The Streetlight 5k & Frolic will be on Saturday, July 11th in Downtown Concord. The Road Race route is down Union Street South to Oakland Ave, around R Brown Elementary School, right on Union, back to the finish in Downtown. 5k Certification #: NC25013DF Frolic (6:30pm to 9:30pm): Details to be announced! SPEED FOR NEED - Riders with a special need in a customized racing wheelchairs to help them complete the Streetlight 5k. The mission is to raise awareness and foster inclusion. Speed for Need provides the wheelchair and the runner. If you would like to reserve a racing wheelchair, please contact Zack Roehrs at roehrsz@concordnc.gov. Awards will given to the overall top three male and female and to the top three male and female finishers in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and over. NEW FOR 2026: First Overall Male and Female Masters Division (40+), Grand Masters Division (50+), Senior Grand Masters (60+) Fun Run (1 Mile): 7pm 5k Begins: 7:30pm Register by June 19th to be guaranteed an awesome t-shirt! Race Day Registration: Increases price of $10 on race day and while supplies last for all registrations after June 19th. (CARD ONLY ON RACE DAY).
