State 47 Las Cruces Marathon

Nestled at 3,900 feet in Las Cruces, New Mexico, the State 47 Marathon is surrounded by pecan orchards, stunning views of the Organ Mountains, and the Rio Grande River. Hosted by @wanderlustrunning, this popular event has sold out the past three years and, in 2025, welcomed participants from all 50 states and 8 countries. The USATF-certified course is also a Boston qualifier, offering a fast and scenic race with reliably great weather. In addition to the marathon, the event features a half-marathon, a 4.7-mile race, and a kids’ run for all ages to enjoy. Join us for the 5th running of the State 47 Half Marathon. Join us for the first running of the 2-person marathon relay with the first leg total distance of 13.6 miles and the second leg 12.6 miles—female, male, and mixed teams are available for registration
