StarKid 5K

Join us for the StarKid 5K and Family Fun Run on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Fairfax Corner Shopping Center! It's a fun-filled morning of fitness, music, and community. All ages are welcome to run, jog, walk, or cheer on participants—strollers and pets included! You can even create or join a team for some friendly competition. Since 2006, the StarKid 5K has supported Inova Children’s. Originally supporting the Pediatric Heart Program, proceeds now benefit pediatric services across Inova Health System, with this year’s funds supporting the new Pediatric Emergency Room at Inova Fairfax! Inova Fairfax Hospital is Northern Virginia’s only Level I Trauma Center and the 3rd busiest ER in the nation, with the Inova Pediatric Emergency Room being the busiest pediatric ER in the region, handling over 63,000 visits in 2023. To meet growing demand, Inova has expanded the ER as part of the Do. More. Together . campaign, doubling the size of the Children’s ER with more private rooms, shorter wait times, and a dedicated pediatric entrance, creating a more welcoming, kid-friendly space for young patients and their families. Your support of StarKid helps make a lasting impact on pediatric care at Inova Children’s. Let’s continue the tradition and make this year’s event a success! Event Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - Family Fun Run 8:30 a.m. - 5K Race Start 9:30 a.m. - Awards and Prizes Registration Fees: 5K - $30 Fun Run - $15 4 & Under with a StarKid shirt - $10 4 & Under without a StarKid shirt - Free All registered 5K and Fun Run participants will receive a commemorative race shirt. Be sure to register before May 15 to be guaranteed a shirt. All participants must register online. Online registration will remain open until 8:00 am on Sunday, June 1.
