Spring SOTA Run

If you need a training race in prep for the Tar Heel 10 miler or just a fun run, the UNC Spring SOTA Run is for you. The race features two event types: 5k and 10k in the Carolina North forest. Both races will begin at the Carolina North forest parking lot with parking available down the lane. Racers will be provided a finisher medal, a soda at the finish, and timing for the event. 10k: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/copy/6677094403 5k: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/6683146684/ Proceeds from the race will go to the Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA), a non-profit student organization that serves to promote professional development through education, leadership opportunities, networking, volunteer activities, social activities, and fundraising. SOTA also provides annual funding to first year occupational therapy students to represent UNC as Assembly of Student Delegates (ASD) representatives at the annual American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) conference and funds the MSOT graduation ceremony. As part of our mission, we hope to provide the community with an opportunity to build relationships, connection, and fitness through shared opportunities.
