Shire / Giant Texas 5K Fun Run

The Shire / Giant Texas 5K Fun Run is the ONLY fun run in the distillery district of the historic Houston East End! Join us on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, and celebrate afterwards at the Shire and Giant Texas Distilleries. The course is officially measured and USATF certified, and the race is chip-timed. The event benefits The Village Connect (TVC), a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the 3000+ people teetering on homelessness in Houston, TX. Come run for a good cause! Race t-shirts guaranteed to racers registered by January 23rd, 2025. All participants will receive a finisher medal! Due to TABC laws, hard liquor will not be available until after 10:00am.
