Shine A Light On Stroke

We are two Delaware Occupational and Speech Therapists who are planning the 3rd Annual Stroke Awareness 5k Run/Walk event. We have identified a need for support and awareness in our community for stroke survivors and their caregivers. Our hope is to connect this wonderful community with local businesses and resources to shed a light on this important cause. Proceeds from this race will go towards supporting individuals who have sustained a stroke and covering extraneous expenses. Some of these costs can include but are not limited to: adaptive equipment to improve safety and quality of life, mobility related DME, transportation to and from appointments, speech generating devices, and thickener secondary to dysphagia.
