Shamrock Run - Salem

GCXC Racing - Youngstown presents the inaugural Shamrock 5K & Kids Fun Run taking place on Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at Waterworth Memorial Park, in Salem, Ohio. The address for the park is: 700 Sunset Blvd., Salem, Ohio 44460. - The Kids Fun Run (1/4 Mile) is open to ages 13 & under and begins at 9:30am. The 5K begins at 10:00am. Both events are professionally chip timed. - Registration for the Kids Fun Run includes a finisher medal, custom bib number and optional participant shirt. - Registration for the 5K includes a finisher medal, custom bib number, participant shirt and free alcoholic beverage at Liebe Wein after the race! - Top three boys and girls in the kids run also receive special prizes. - Top three overall male and female winners in the 5K will receive gift cards ($25, $15, $10) from Liebe Wein and Shamrock socks. Top three male/female in the following age groups will also receive Shamrock socks: 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Up. - Proceeds benefit Waterworth Memorial Park.
