Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Leprechaun 1K Dash

Join us for the 8th annual Shamrock 4 Mile presented by Roots Realty Group! This race is the 2nd event of the 2026 RunAbout Race Series. The race is at Blacksburg High School on Saturday, March 14 at 9 AM. The Lucky Leprechaun Dash presented by Adjust NRV is at 10:30 am. Participants who register on or before March 1 are guaranteed to receive a long-sleeved race shirt. All 4-mile finishers receive a medal. Virtual Shamrock 4 Miler Virtual Shamrock 4 Miler with store pick-up of shirt and medal. $26 Race Course: The Shamrock 4 Miler is on a one-loop course on Prices Fork Rd, Plantation Rd, and the Hethwood bike paths. An Aid Station at 2.5 miles serves water and Gatorade. The Lucky Leprechaun Dash presented by Adjust NRV is 1 Kilometer (0.62 miles) and takes place on the Blacksburg High School cross country course. Shamrock 4 Mile Race Course Lucky Leprechaun Dash Awards: 4 Miler All finishers receive a commemorative medal Overall: The top 3 male and female finishers will receive an award. Age group: Awards 3 deep - male and female - in the following categories: 14 and under 15-19 20-24 25-29 30-34 35-39 40-44 45-49 50-54 55-60 61-64 65+ Best Costume Leprechaun - wins a free pair of shoes from Blacksburg's amazing running store, RunAbout Sports! Awards can be picked up after the race by the medal table (next to finish). Awards will not be mailed. Parking: Parking is available in the lots in front of Blacksburg High School. Post-race food and drinks will be near the finish line. Results: Live results are provided by Run Roanoke .
