Join us for our 15th Annual 5K Run/Walk May 1, 2026 COURSE 5K night race will go through Historic Downtown Wauchula. Finish line & awards ceremony will be held at Heritage Park on Main Street. 1 Mile Fun Run & Kids ½ Dash will loop around Downtown Wauchula and finish on Main Street. RACE WEEK SCHEDULE 5:30pm - 6:45pm Check-in & late registration @ the Hardee County Courthouse (417 West Main Street, Wauchula, FL 33873) 6:00pm Kids ½ Dash 6:15pm 1 Mile Fun Run (for all ages) 7:00pm 5K Awards - Approximately 8:30pm at Heritage Park Pavilion *See Virtual Race below for additional information about this option. Team Awards will be given out this year to: Team with the most people and the Fastest Team (aggregate time for the first 5 runners to cross the line for a team.) (If you have any questions about registering a team, please email us at: smm@sendmemissions.com) PACKET PICK UP Teams & Individuals can pick up their packets (which includes race t-shirt) on Wednesday, April 29th from 10am - 6pm at 215 W Orange Street, Wauchula. Packets can be mailed for an additional $7 (will be mailed between April 27-April 28) VIRTUAL RACE Participants in the virtual race can run or walk anywhere... in their neighborhoods, at home on a treadmill, in a park, or even on church grounds. There will not be a set route; you can run wherever you’d like and submit your times online between April 24-May 1. SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS While headphones & baby strollers are permissible, pet animals are not allowed on the race route. AWARDS 5K - Overall male & female, masters, grand masters, senior grand masters, veteran grand masters, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd - 8 & under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & above *Kids ½ Dash, 1 Mile Fun Run, & Virtual Race - Everyone will receive a key chain medal
