School to Pool Dash & Splash

Get ready to celebrate the start of summer with the School to Pool Dash & Splash — a fun-filled race for kids ages 14 and under! The event kicks off with an exciting road run through the neighborhood from Van Zant School to the Woodstream Swim Club where athletes will compete in a fun swimming race. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each age group, and every participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt. All non-members of the swim club are invited to stay for the rest of the day and will recieve a free day pass to the pool for one child and one adult. (Additional day passes may be purchased for other immediate household members for $10 each. Day passes are only valid for 5/30/26). It’s the perfect summer challenge combining swimming, running, and tons of fun! Please meet on the front lawn of Van Zant Elementary School. All ages: 1 mile run Ages 8 & under: 50m swim (2 laps) Ages 9-14: 100m swim (4 laps) **All participants must be age 14 or under on May 30, 2026
