SAU Farm Road Challenge

The Farm Road 5K Challenge is an annual race that raises money for The Overcoming Adversity Scholarship. The scholarship supports SAU student-athletes with disabilities. Founders, Briston and Carley Rains, ran cross country and track and field at SAU (Briston 2020-2023, Carley 2017-2021). They started this scholarship in 2022 based on Carley's true testimony of being a student-athlete with a disability (Narcolepsy with Cataplexy). Race Details: Location: SAU Alumni Center Due to few interests, the 4-mile relay has been canceled. The 1/2 mile kids run has also been moved to Saturday morning at 8:15 AM. Due to weather, the race has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 14th. Saturday, March 14, 2026 7:30 AM - Packet Pickup Starts 8:15 AM - 1/2 Mile Kid's Run 8:30 AM - 5K & 10K Race Starts Participants Receive: Shirt Medal Age Group Awards Giveaways will be announced throughout Saturday's event!
