Run4Rare 5K / 1K

The 4th Annual Run4Rare is set to return on May 11, 2025 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ. This race is rain or shine. Aubrie Rowland is 6 year old Raritan resident attending First Grade at Milltown Primary School in Bridgewater, NJ. She was born with an ultra-rare Mitochondrial Disease, Leukoencephalopathy with Ovarian Failure (LKENP). This condition is terminal and has no cure. This run is hosted by Aubrie's mom, Ashley Rowland who is the Co-Founder of CureARS. ​CureARS is a parent organization (founded by two mom's) supporting families and funding research that could lead to life-saving treatments for their children and others affected by mtARS disorders.
