Run for Wellness 5K

Join us for our Second Annual 5K Run/Walk – a day where fitness and health awareness come together! Pre Race packet pick-up on Friday, September 19th from 4:00 - 6:30 pm at Blue Jacket Park, near the statues of Sailors and restrooms. Race Day Packet pick-up will be available on the morning of the race, beginning at 6:00 am. Race time is 7:30am sharp. Proceeds from this race benefit the FLORIDA GIVING GARDENS, a student-led community garden initiative raising awareness around food equity and sustainability. The fast and flat 3.1-mile course around Blue Jacket Park entails 2 loops, a big loop and a small loop inside the big loop (see map below) with the opportunity for 2 water stops. All 5K participants will be rewarded with an exclusive medal and tank top shirt to commemorate their achievement. Below right is William Hattaway enjoying his 2024 win.
