Run For the Lakes

Our 19th annual Brainerd Jaycees Run for the Lakes will be held May 1st - 2nd, 2026. Run for the Lakes is an all-volunteer run race is organized from start to finish by the Brainerd Jaycees and carried out with the support of over 100 members of the community and several local businesses. All proceeds from Run for the Lakes are donated to various non-profits. Friday, May 1st 2:00pm-8:00pm — Registration and Packet Pick-Up @ TBD 6:30pm — 1K Kids Fun Run 6:45pm 5K Color Run/Walk 7:45pm — 5K Awards Saturday, May 2nd 6:30am-8:00am — Late packet pick-up only; no registration available 8:00am — Full, Half, and Relay Marathon Start 8:30am — 10K Start 10:00am — 10K Awards 11:30am Half Marathon Awards 12:00pm — Zer0K Start 12:30pm — Relay Marathon Awards 1:00pm — Full Marathon Awards
