Run For Life – 5K & 1K Fun Run/Walk Kick off the 2026 Relay For Life season with the Run For Life 5K & 1K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Nandua High School. Hosted by the Relay For Life of the Eastern Shore of Virginia, this family-friendly event is a great way to get moving, support a meaningful cause, and enjoy a fun morning with the community. Whether you’re an experienced runner or just looking for a relaxed walk with friends and family, there’s an option for everyone. Packet and bib pickup will take place from 9:00–9:50 AM, with the 5K starting at 10:00 AM and the 1K beginning at 11:00 AM. Registration Fees 5K: $40 1K: $30 Your entry includes: Race bib Water and snacks after the race Event T-shirt (guaranteed for those registered by March 10) Awards Medals will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in two age groups: 18 & under 19 & above Extras Delicious BBQ plates available for purchase after the race! All proceeds from this event benefit the American Cancer Society, helping fund the mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
