Roots & Routes 5K at the Mills

Roots & Routes 5K at the Mills is a trail race starting at the Rocky Mount Mills to raise money for Ripe For Revival. Ripe For Revival is a 501(C)3 non-profit located in Rocky Mount NC. Our mission is to Revive Communities through Food by bridging the gap between farm excess and food access. The 5K will start and finish in the Rocky Mount Mills parking lot and you will run less then a half mile to and from the bike trails at battle park in which a majority of the race will be taking place. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 6 YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE. Early Packet Pickup: Early pickup with be Friday 5/01/2026. You will be able to pick your packet from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the big blue tent near water tower. There will be Live music in the evening at the Rocky Mount Mills as well! Address is same as race day! RACE DAY: Packets can be picked up starting 7:30 am and race will start at 9:00! Every runner with get a T-shirt in a size of there choice up until the date listed. After that date you can receive a shirt after the race from the sizes that are left. Each runner who finishes will get a finishers medal. There will also be age group awards roughly being 10 year age gaps. There will be live music at The Mills the night of race day as well!
