Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Southwest Florida Pink Glow 5K Event Information 📅 Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026 📍 Location: Founder's Square at Babcock Ranch 42850 Crescent Loop Punta Gorda, FL 33982 Schedule 5:30 PM – Check-In & Race Day Packet Pickup Opens 6:45 PM – Opening Ceremony 7:00 PM – Pink Glow 5K Run/Walk Begins About the Race Join us for an unforgettable evening under the lights as we run and walk together to support the fight against breast cancer. The Pink Glow 5K is a professionally chip-timed race by Beach Bum Timing . Whether you're racing for a personal best or walking in honor of a loved one, everyone is welcome. There is no time limit to complete the course. Registration 5K Registration: $40 Youth Registration (18 & Under) : $25 Race Day Registration Race Day registration and packet pickup will be available from 5:00 PM–6:45 PM. Payment Accepted: Credit Cards Apple Pay Cash will not be accepted. Race Shirts Participants who register by the guaranteed shirt deadline will receive an official Pink Glow 5K event shirt. Guaranteed Shirt Deadline: Midnight on September 28, 2026 (Please verify this date.) Shirt sizes are available while supplies last. If your preferred size is unavailable, please select another available size or choose the "No Shirt" option. Once no sizes appear during registration, event shirts have sold out. Packet Pickup Early Packet Pickup: T o Be Determined Race Day Packet Pickup: 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM Awards An in-person awards ceremony will take place following the race. Awards and shirts will not be shipped. Participants who do not remain for the awards ceremony are responsible for arranging pickup with Babcock Ranch. Overall Awards Awards will be presented to the first Male and Female finishers in each category: Overall Champion Masters (40+) Grand Masters (50+) Senior Grand Masters (60+) Veteran Grand Masters (70+) Age Group Awards Top 3 Male and Female finishers in each division: 9 & Under 10–14 15–19 20–24 25–29 30–34 35–39 40–44 45–49 50–54 55–59 60–64 65–69 70+ Race Amenities Water Stations Water will be available: At the halfway point of the course At the finish line Post-Race Refreshments Enjoy refreshments after crossing the finish line. Restrooms Restrooms are located adjacent to the Start Line. Parking Free parking is available in designated lots surrounding Founder's Square. Frequently Asked Questions Is the race timed? Yes. The 5K is professionally chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing. Where can I view the course? The official course map will be posted soon. Are dogs allowed? Yes. Dogs are welcome provided: They remain on a non-retractable leash no longer than 6 feet. They are current on vaccinations. Owners clean up after their pets. Participants assume full responsibility for their dogs. Are strollers allowed? Yes. Strollers are welcome on the course.
