Red Fox Run 5k / 1 Mile Fun

You may remember a little race from years long gone called the Red Fox Run. This race took place at F.D. Roosevelt State Park and it was a hit! Well, we are bringing it back. It is as if a little fox finally poked its head out of the fox hole and said to itself, “it is time to run again”. “No more lazing around in the den”. Join us on March 28, 2026 for the classic Red Fox Run 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run Who: F.D. Roosevelt State Park Partnering with Southern SIngletrack Trail Series What: 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run Where: F.D. Roosevelt State Park Campground Boat House. Latitude, Longitude):32.83778, -84.81532°50'16"N, 84°48'54"W I-85 TO I-185 (exit 21) then take exit 42 (HWY 27) to Pine Mountain. Turn left on HWY 354 (3rd light in Pine Mountain) to GA 190. Turn right on 190. Park office is a 2 story rock building on left after the curve. We will make sure there are signs directing you to parking and the race start. When: Saturday, March 28, 2026 Packet Pickup starts at 7am Race Starts at 8am Sharp Why: Because we want to have a little race in the park. And because the kids loved it back in the day. Awards: Top 3 overall. Cost: $35 which includes a race shirt or $20 if you choose not to take a shirt. Make sure to register by March 15, 2026. Timing: This is a chip timed event. Post Race: We will have pizza from Foxes Pizza Den (Of course 🦊) Make sure to grab a slice after the race.
