Red Coyote Puppy Love 5K

*** Red Coyote Puppy Love Rescheduled Date Sunday, Feb 23rd! *** Red Coyote is kicking off 2025 with the Red Coyote Puppy Love 5K! Join the Pack for a 5K run or walk with and for your best four-legged friends. The event will support the mission of 405 Animal Rescue and you might even have the chance to meet and adopt a new running buddy! This race is 100% dog friendly for all well-socialized pups on a leash. We do ask that any owners running with dogs be prepared with a "pick up" bag to attend to any unscheduled potty breaks (yours or theirs) on the course. ;-) Permit requires we leave it spotless so we need everyone to do their part! You can run with a dog or without. The course loops in such a way as to have traffic moving in just one direction. We trust that everyone will be accommodating and have a good time. There will be regular awards for the top three men and women finishers and the winners of the USATF age divisions. We'll also have a prize for the first male and female finisher with a dog! For additional fun, participate in our costume contest! We'll have a special prize for the doggo / owner with the most amazing get up. The race is scheduled for Sunday, February 23rd, 2 pm at Stars & Stripes Park in OKC. Weather permitting, we'll have pups from our partners at 405 Rescue to meet, greet, and adopt.
