Rainbow Run, Rock & Roll

Tahoe Expedition Academy’s Rainbow Run, Rock & Roll is a family friendly community event involving a 5K fun run/walk/roll on the Truckee River Legacy Trail, followed by a free festival on the Chief Truckee Lawn at the Truckee Regional Park. This will feature live musical performances, local vendors, informational community booths, food trucks, games and more. This event has something for everyone and is a perfect way to launch Truckee’s second annual PRIDE Week. Prices: Adults $30 Kids 5-17 $20 4 & younger free Race Day Information: Date : Sunday, May 31, 2026 Event Venue: Truckee Regional Park 8:00 am - Bib pick up & late registration opens (Lower BBQ area) 9:00 am - 5K Run starts, followed by the walk (Lower BBQ area) 9:30 am - 5K Roll starts 9:30 am to 1:00 pm - Post race festival Please see below PDF file for additional information regarding the courses and race start. PARKING : Parking will be available at Regional Park. Participants can also park on East River Street by the foot bridge and walk up to start along the Trail. Signage will direct runners to start. FESTIVAL : Please plan to stay and enjoy the Rainbow Run Festival featuring live music and performances and vendors. The festival will run from 9:30am-1:00pm. PHOTOS : Participants in this year's Rainbow Run 5K can sign up ahead of time to be notified when the event photos are ready.
