Beer we go again! Attention all pavement pounders and sidewalk strollers, it's time to greet the day (again), but don't you dare step out without your trusty running shoes and hand warmers—it's nippy out there! Keep your eyes peeled for Groundhog Day updates, because our beloved Punxsutawney Phil might just bless us with an early thaw. And hey, don't let the momentum stop there; the 16th annual Rahr & Sons Oktoberfest 5K is sprinting our way into 2025. Let's get the party started at the Rahr & Sons Running Club's monthly social run/walk, featuring a one-day-only sign-up special! Be there or be square, and let's toast to the run—Prost! And remember - The monthly Rahr & Sons Running Club social run/walk is your training for the annual and "official" Rahr & Sons Oktoberfest 5K. Think of it as a social stroll or sprint that primes you for the main event, where running meets revelry! SOCIAL RUN REGISTRATION & TICKET PRICING : Purchase tickets for $30 online. Social Run Includes:3ish mile, self-guided run/walk (untimed) with bottled water at the start/finish, three (3) free draft brew samples (must be 21+), a Rahr & Sons pint glass to take home and hot breakfast!! SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE: Check in opens at 8:00am and the group start is at 8:30am. If you miss the group start at 8:30am, you can still check in and run/walk, check in closes at 9:00am. 8 - 9 AM: Check in for the social run/walk 8:30 AM: “Group” Start (run with the group and awesome beer pacers!) 9:30 AM: Breakfast available via the Holy Frijole food truck and post social run fun in the brewery 10:30 AM: Each month we’ll have games and/or a raffle with a chance to score some fun stuff, must be present to play and/or win. 11:00 AM: Last call 11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends and brewery closes SOCIAL RUN/WALK NOTES & TIPS: All levels and paces are welcome. This event is untimed & always an awesome time! We are always rain or shine! We are cashless and paperless; all registrations are done online. Dogs are allowed at Rahr Brewing. Dogs must have tags, be on a leash and are only allowed in outside, in communal areas. We hope to you see you and your pups soon!
