Welcome to the Race to Empower! Get ready to lace up your sneakers and join us for the Annual Race to Empower 5k and One Mile Fun Run on Sunday, May 4, 2025 ! This family-friendly, inclusive event is not only about fun and fitness, but also about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adults with disabilities in our community. Race Details Location: UCP of Greater Cleveland Headquarters, 10011 Euclid Ave, Cleveland, OH Time: - Registration & Packet Pickup: 7:30 AM - 5k & One Mile Race Start: 9:00 AM - Awards Ceremony: 10:00 AM Course: Winding through the beautiful University Circle, Rockefeller Park, and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens. After the race, join us for a street fair-style celebration ! Enjoy food trucks, live music, vendor booths, and activities for all ages. Whether you’re racing or spectating, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Race Options 5K: Run or walk, chip-timed (perfect for all levels!) 1 Mile: Run or walk, untimed Jogging strollers and wheelchairs are welcome! Why Participate? The Race to Empower supports the UCP of Greater Cleveland ’s mission to help children and adults with disabilities live fuller, more independent lives. All proceeds benefit our programming at LeafBridge and OakLeaf Center s—providing therapy, job opportunities, and community integration to over 1,300 individuals each year. Register Today!
