Outer Banks Triathlon

September 11-12, 2026 Swim-Bike-Run! The Outer Banks Triathlon starts with a swim in the Croatan Sound on Roanoke Island, Manteo. Two days of multi-sport racing including 2 distances: Olympic and Sport. Olympic starts with a .93 miles (1.5 Kilometer) swim, then a 25 mile bike ride, and ends with a 6.2 mile run. While the Sprint starts with a 750 meter swim, then a 12.4 mile bike ride, and ends with a 3.1 mile run. Keep an eye out for some of our Aquabike options too!
