Omaha Triathlon at the "C"

The Omaha Triathlon is celebrating its 14th year by returning to Lake Cunningham otherwise known as the "C"! Race options include Olympic and Sprint Distance Individual, Olympic Team Relay, Individual Aquabike, and Duathlon. The Omaha Triathlon is the USA Triathlon Nebraska Age Group and State High School Championships for 2023. Qualifying for the 2023 USA Triathlon Nationals, updated for 2023: State championships will qualify the top 35% or top five (5) finishers in an age group (whichever is greater). You may only qualify for Olympic-distance Nationals by placing in the Olympic distance State Championship race or Sprint Nationals by placing in the sprint distance State Championship race. High School State Championships Exemption: All high school athletes who finish any of the State High School Championships will automatically qualify for Sprint-distance (pending they are at least age 15 as of December 31, 2023.) Any state championship that occurs after June 1, 2023, will qualify for BOTH 2023 AND 2024 USA Triathlon Nationals. The qualification criteria for 2024 Age Group Nationals is subject to change from what it is for 2023. Review the full 2023 qualification criteria for age group races at USA Triathlon Nationals. Athletes do not have to be a resident of a state to win that state’s championship. Any age group athlete competing in an age group division is eligible to win any state championship. Official Race Start Time is NOW 7:00 AM on Sunday! The Bike course is primarily on Highway 36 on a closed course. The Run Course in around the newly paved and scenic Lake Cunningham Recreation Area Lake. Full Course maps are posted at the event page for the Omaha Triathlon at www.raceomaha.com. The lake was refilled over the last few years and the water quality and clarity is excellent. Post Race food featuring "The Pancake Man" with pancakes and sausage for all competitors included with your registration fee. Additional guests may be purchased with your registration for guests (i.e. family and friends). A limited number of reserved RV and camping spots with full service connections near the race venue and swim start. Reservation are only available through Race Omaha. The Campground features new shower and bathrooms facilities just for reserved guests. RV and camping spots are assigned by Race Omaha. Overall Top 3 Male and Female Awards for Individual Olympic and Sprint Triathlon.Awards for top 3 in each age group individuals for both Olympic and Sprint Triathlon.Awards for top 30% of relay teams. If 20 teams registered, 6 Teams will receive awards.Top Female and Male in Aqaubike/SwimBike and Duathlon/Run-Bike-Run.USA Triathlon 2023 Nebraska State Championships for Age Groups and High School. USA Triathlon provides medals for Gold, Silver, and Bronze for Top 3 Overall Nebraska Female and Male in both Age Groups and High School.
