🐎🌹 Newburgh Derby Dash – Sign Up Today! 🌹🐎 Historic Newburgh, Inc. is excited to present the First Annual Newburgh Derby Dash on Saturday, May 2 along the beautiful Newburgh Riverfront! Choose your pace and your race: 🏃‍♂️ Timed 5K with awards for multiple male and female age groups 🚶‍♀️ 1-Mile Option perfect for walkers, families, and those who want a shorter distance All participants will receive a FREE custom Derby Dash t-shirt! The start and finish line will be at the intersection of State & Water Streets by Marida Mediterranean Restaurant. The scenic 5k route takes you along the French Island Trail, passing Old Lock and Dam Park and turning around just before the hill leading up to Newburgh Overlook Park. You’ll enjoy beautiful Ohio River views the entire way! Gather your friends and family to run, run/walk, or walk with us — and don’t forget to wear your Kentucky Derby attire to add even more fun and flair to the day! Big hats, bow ties, and bright colors are encouraged! 🎩 After you cross the finish line, keep the celebration going at the Historic Newburgh Beer & Wine Festival, opening at 12:00 PM right on the Riverfront.
