Mother's Day 5K Walk & Run

The Mother’s Day 5K Walk & Run is a community celebration to support women and families, bringing together runners, walkers, and supporters to celebrate movement, connection, and the people who make our communities stronger—especially the mother figures we honor on Mother’s Day. Hosted at the beautiful waterfront setting of Cisco Brewers in New Bedford, the event is designed as a true community celebration. You’ll move along a scenic oceanfront course, then gather at the finish to enjoy live music, food and drink in the beer garden, kids’ activities, and time by the water with people you care about. Whether you’re running, walking, pushing a stroller, or cheering from the sidelines, this race is built for all ages and all paces. Come as you are—many participants make it part of their Mother’s Day tradition, turning the morning into a joyful celebration with family and friends. Proceeds benefit the Women’s Fund SouthCoast advancing gender, racial, and economic justice through research, grantmaking, and advocacy across the SouthCoast region and beyond.
