Mother's Day Time to Teal 5k & Fun Run/Walk

MIOCA is proud to present our annual Mother’s Day Time to Teal Run/Walk on Sunday, May 10, 2026! Gather your family and friends for this special Mother’s Day tradition that brings people together to celebrate the incredible women in our lives​, while ​raising crucial ovarian cancer awareness in our community Both the 5K and one-mile Fun Run/Walk ​invites participants of all ages and abilities​!​ The fun includes: Chip-timed 5K bibsAwesome swag you’ll loveCourses that welcome runners, walkers, and strollers​Awards for top finishers and fundraising prizesA joyful, supportive atmosphere honoring the amazing women in our lives The Time to Teal Run/Walk was inspired by MIOCA co-founder Pam Dahlmann, who sought a meaningful way to honor her mother​'s memory, Geri Fournier​, on Mother’s Day. We are honored to continue this tradition in her name. Each year, this event brings together mothers, daughters, families, and friends to reflect, remember, and celebrate together while recognizing the impact ovarian cancer has had on so many lives. Please note: the exact location of the 2026 Time to Teal Run/Walk is still being finalized. The event will be held in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, with details to be shared once confirmed. All proceeds from this race benefit the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
