Join us for the annual Moms' Run event on Mother's Day weekend, May 9, 2026! Get ready to run, walk, and celebrate motherhood at our 23rd annual Moms’ Run event! Whether you’re joining our beloved 5K or prefer the 1-mile walk option, there’s a way for everyone to participate and show support for maternal mental health in our community. This family-friendly morning includes our popular Kids Dash, a fun kids activity area featuring a photo booth and bubble dome, and plenty of pre- and post-race fun. With activities for all ages, the Moms’ Run is more than a race - it’s a celebration of connection, care, and community. When you register, you’ll receive: • A commemorative race t-shirt • A race bag for the first 500 to check in at packet pickup • Flowers for all 1-mile and 5K finishers • Finish line snacks• Access to all pre- and post-race family fun activities Your participation directly supports Postpartum Support Charleston’s mission to provide vital resources to moms in our community who are struggling with postpartum depression, anxiety, and other maternal mental health challenges. Please also note that we cannot allow animals at this event. Frequently Asked Questions Q. Does this race give out finisher medals? Flowers will be given to our finishers in honor of Mother's Day. Q. Are strollers allowed? Absolutely! This race takes place on the track and out of the road, and is very stroller friendly. Q. Are bikes allowed? No, we do not allow bikes on the course or at the event. Q. Can I bring my dog or pet? No, dogs or pets are not allowed at the High School and cannot be permitted on our race course. We love our furry friends just as much as you do, but they'll have to miss out on this event. Q. Can I pickup my packet on race day? Yes, packet pickup will be open on race morning starting at 6:45 a.m. at Philip Simmons High School. Q. Can I pickup my friends packet? Yes, you can pickup for a friend. Just be sure to let them know. Q. Can I get to the event after the race starts? No, you will not be able to get into the venue once the race has started. This will be a closed course until all runners & walkers have cleared the course. There is only one way in and one way out, so please arrive by 7:45 a.m. to ensure you can participate. Q. I registered for the race, but cannot attend. Can I get a refund? We are unable to refund your race registration.
