Light the Way 5K Glow Run

The Light the Way 5K is a community run hosted by Youth & Family Services in celebration of our 50th Anniversary. This event supports the Youth & Family Services Emergency Youth Shelter and helps fund future plans for a new shelter facility to better serve youth in crisis. By participating, you are directly helping provide safety, stability, and hope to children and teens who need it most. Whether you run, walk, or support from the couch, your involvement helps “light the way” for youth in our community. Event Information 📅 Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026 📍 Location: Unity Square Race Start Times • Timed 5K: 8:00 PM • 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk (not timed): 8:30 PM 50th Anniversary Celebration Unity Square | 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Open to the public) Packet Pick-Up Friday, June 26, 2026 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Youth & Family Services 2200 SE Washington Blvd. Packet pick-up and same-day registration will also be available at Unity Square at 7:00 PM on race night. Registrations after June 5th does not guarantee a tshirt Registration Pricing Early Bird (through May 27, 2026): • $25 – Timed 5K (includes event t-shirt) • $25 – 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk (includes event t-shirt) • $25 – Support From the Couch (includes event t-shirt) Prices increase after May 27, 2026. Awards Medals awarded to the top three finishers in standard age categories, as well as overall top male and top female finishers in the timed 5K. There will also be awards for the top three "Most Lit Up" finishers. Put on some lights and glow sticks and enjoy this fun event! Thank you for helping us light the way for youth in our community.
