Cal Tri Events is proud to announce the acquisition of the Lake Havasu Triathlon, one of the Southwest’s most storied multisport events. Held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, the race will be officially rebranded as Cal Tri Lake Havasu, marking another key milestone in Cal Tri’s mission to make triathlon more safe, affordable & accessible. Founded over 40 years ago and held annually in the vibrant city of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, the Lake Havasu Triathlon has been a bucket-list race for athletes across the West. Known for its warm waters, iconic London Bridge backdrop, and challenging yet scenic course, the event has served as a rite of passage for athletes young and old. “Lake Havasu is one of the classic venues in American triathlon history,” said Thom Richmond, CEO of Cal Tri Events. “We are looking forward to kicking off the 2026 season in Arizona, which now gives our community race options in all four major U.S. time zones.
