The annual Lake Chelan Swim always takes place the first Saturday after Labor Day! This is a FUN event held at beautiful Lake Chelan, Washington. We welcome adults and children (over 12) of any fitness level. You don't have to be a competitive swimmer to participate, this is a fun event suitable for the whole family! The Lake Chelan Swim is an event to raise funds and awareness for swimming lessons on Lake Chelan to serve both residents and visitors. This event also helps to highlight the beauty of Lake Chelan and heightens awareness on the importance of keeping it clean and blue. The swim is 1.5 miles long and starts at Willow Point Park and goes to Manson Bay Park on the north shore of Lake Chelan. All proceeds go directly to subsidizing free swim lessons at Manson Bay Park. Swim lessons not only teach kids how to swim but gives them important Water Safety instruction as well. Please help support this cause by registering or donating today. Advance registration is required. Funds generated by the swim are directed to the Manson Parks Department Aquatics program. Each year we send hundreds of kids for FREE swimming lessons. The Lake Chelan Swim is a 501(c)3 tax deductible non-profit organization.
