On January 2, 2027, history will be made in Texas on the "Northeast Texas Trail" (NETT) with the launch of the IRON HORSE Endurance Run — featuring the first-ever true point-to-point 100K in Texas and the state’s first near point-to-point 100-mile. This isn’t just another ultra — it’s the biggest, baddest race Texas ultrarunning has ever seen. Runners will charge across the vast, untamed stretches of the NETT, a flat, open, and deceptively fast corridor that cuts through small towns, bridges, prairies, and rugged backcountry on gravel, dirt, pavement, and grass.With full race support, aid stations, and the relentless spirit of Texas grit, this event is built to push the limits of endurance and etch its name into ultrarunning lore.
