Irish Eyes are Mile'ing 5K

Welcome the FIFTH Annual Irish Eyes are Mile'ing 5K in Ocala! This race is presented by AND benefits your local youth running club, Transitions Life Center of Ocala. Transitions Life Center is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide a safe, caring and enriching community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our Mission We want to introduce a lifelong love of the sport of distance running. We strive to instill a work ethic that carries over into other aspects of the children’s lives. One of our motto’s is “We work hard, so winning comes easy. The early entry fee is $30 until midnight Jan 31, 2026. Late entry fee is $35 From Feb 1, 2026 until Feb 28, 2026 midnight. THIS IS SHIRT CUT OFF DATE Extra Late entry fee is $40 from March 1, 2026 until March 13, 2026 at 6pm when online registration closes. Race day registration is $40 cash or check only and may not include a shirt IRISH EYES ARE MILE'ING MEDALS will be presented to the first 175 finishers. There will be a VIRTUAL Irish Eyes are Mile'ing race too with the option of shipping for an additional fee. We will present awards to the Overall Male and Female and to the Masters Male and Female AGE GROUPS will be FIVE YEAR, TWO DEEP from 9 and Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74 and 75 AND OVER! MENS AND WOMENS SHIRT SIZES FOR THOSE ENTERED UNTIL MIDNIGHT TO FEB 28, 2026...100% soft cotton! PRE RACE PACKET PICK UP will be held Friday March 13, 2026 at Running Elements 29 NE 1st Ave,unit E, Ocala 34470 (352) 895 2923 11AM to 2PM Race Day pick up will begin at 7am. The race starts and finishes at Citizens Circle, SE Osceola Ave Ocala FL 34471 The 5K will start at 8am and awards will start a wee bit before 9am. Awards will be preceeded by the Krazy Kilt Kontest. Wear your best Irish socks, kilts, hats and shamrocks!
