Event Details When: Saturday, July 11th Time: Race starts at 9:00 AM Where: Dequindre Cut Freight Yard, Detroit Stay for the Fun The finish line is just the beginning! After the race, stick around to enjoy the best of Detroit’s riverfront district: Relax at the Freight Yard beer & wine garden: We’re requesting an early opening of the beer and wine garden for our participants and guests. Explore Eastern Market : Take a post-race stroll through the historic market. Hit the Riverfront : Enjoy a scenic walk along one of the city's most beautiful landmarks. Dine Local: Refuel at one of the many excellent restaurants just steps away from the course. Housing is the first step, but stability is the journey: Your contribution ensures no one has to walk that path alone. Funds raised provide more than just a roof; they provide the foundation for a fresh start. Your support directly funds: Essential Documentation: Obtaining IDs, Social Security cards, and birth certificates. Move-in Costs: Covering fees and deposits that often stand in the way of a new home. Home & Life Essentials Household Necessities: Providing items to turn a house into a home. Daily Support: Funding transportation passes and school supplies. Long-Term Stability: Wraparound Services: We provide counseling and support services to ensure lasting independence. Early Bird: $35 (Now through June 27) Standard: $40 (June 28 – July 10) Race Day: $45 - Registration is online only Race Swag T-Shirts: Register by June 27 to guarantee your commemorative race shirt (available in Adult and Youth sizes). Finishers Medals: The first 250 registrants are guaranteed to receive a custom 1st Annual Hustle for Homes medal! Awards & Timing Awards will be presented to: Top 3 Overall: Male and Female winners. Age Group Winners: 1st place Male and Female in the following categories: 14 & Under | 15–19 | 20–29 | 30–39 | 40–49 | 50–59 | 60–69 | 70+ The race is professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation .
